Is the Runapy iOS mobile app free for runners?
Yes! The Runapy mobile app is 100% free for individual runners and club members. Runners can discover clubs, view upcoming runs, RSVP to events, and check in via QR code without any paid subscription or in-app purchases.
How do verified QR check-ins work at club runs?
At each event, the club host displays a dynamic event QR code. Open the Runapy app on your iPhone, tap "Check In", and scan the code. Your attendance will be instantly recorded on the club roster and your personal profile.
Why does Runapy ask for location permissions?
Runapy uses your location solely to show running clubs and group runs nearby (within a 50 km radius) and to confirm event check-in proximity. We never track your continuous background location without your explicit consent, and we never sell your location data.
How do I start a running club or access the admin portal?
If you run a community, crew, or running club, you can request access from our website or app. Once verified, your club dashboard allows you to schedule events, manage member lists, generate check-in codes, and broadcast announcements.
How do I report a bug or crash in the iOS app / TestFlight?
If you are using the TestFlight beta, you can take a screenshot on your iPhone and tap "Share Beta Feedback". Alternatively, send an email directly to support@runapyhub.com with your device model, iOS version, and a brief description of the issue.
How do I delete my account and data?
In compliance with Apple App Store guidelines and GDPR, you can initiate immediate deletion of your account and all associated data directly from the iOS app settings, or self-serve via our Data Deletion portal.
