Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Runapy (the mobile app and runapyhub.com web platform), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

Runapy is a running club management platform that provides tools for club administrators to manage memberships, organize events, track attendance via QR check-ins, and communicate with members. Club members use the Runapy mobile app to join clubs, view events, and check in at runs. Initial club-owner access is approval-only for selected pilot clubs, and public paid plans are not available yet.

3. Accounts

  • You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must be at least 16 years old in the EEA / UK, or at least 13 years old elsewhere, to use Runapy.
  • One person may not maintain more than one account.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Club Administrators

If you create or administer a club on Runapy, you additionally agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about your club.
  • Use the platform only for legitimate running club activities.
  • Respect the privacy of your club members and only use their data for club-related purposes.
  • Obtain any permissions, waivers, consents, or approvals required by your local law, insurance provider, venue, event organizer, or governing body.
  • Ensure events you create are safe, lawful, accurately described, and suitable for the participants you invite.
  • Understand that pilot access is free, approval-only, and may be limited, changed, or ended before public paid plans launch.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

  • Runapy is currently in a free, approval-only pilot for selected club owners.
  • We do not currently offer public checkout or paid club subscriptions on this website.
  • Paid plans may be introduced later through our payment processor, Paddle, after the commercial and legal setup is complete.
  • Future refunds and cancellation details are described in our Refund Policy, but no payment is required during the pilot.
  • The Runapy mobile app is free for club members. Club members are never charged.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use Runapy for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the platform's infrastructure.
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the platform.
  • Upload malicious content or spam.
  • Impersonate another person or club.

7. Club Content and Member Data

Club names, descriptions, event details, logos, photos, and other content you add to Runapy remain your responsibility. You confirm that you have the rights needed to upload and use that content. You grant Runapy a limited license to host, display, and process it only as needed to provide the service.

8. Intellectual Property

The Runapy name, logo, and all associated branding are our property. You retain ownership of any content you create within the platform (club descriptions, event details, etc.). By posting content, you grant us a license to display it within the platform as necessary to provide the service.

9. Event Safety and No Medical Advice

Runapy is software for club operations and runner engagement. We do not organize your runs, supervise participants, verify route safety, provide medical advice, or replace professional coaching, medical, insurance, or legal advice. Club administrators and participants are responsible for deciding whether an event is appropriate and safe.

10. Global Availability

Runapy may be accessed from many countries, but availability of payments, taxes, invoices, features, and support may vary by location. You are responsible for complying with laws that apply to your club and your use of the service.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

Runapy is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. You use the service at your own risk.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Runapy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or personal injury during club activities.

14. Governing Law

Unless mandatory consumer-protection law says otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of Germany. Courts in Germany will have jurisdiction for disputes arising from these Terms, subject to any mandatory rights you have in your country of residence.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email or in-app notification.
